Creating one of a kind pieces, made to measure, for each and every client.

                             Tom Gallenberg AMC

My interest and passion in woodworking was not uncovered until I was in my early 40's. As I began exploring the different architectural styles I became intrigued with the Arts & Crafts Period. In particular the architecture of Greene & Greene and the designs of craftsman like Gustav Stickley, who now strongly influence my work. The other style that I have become passionate about is the natural edge or organic style really brought to the forefront of american design by the works of George Nakashima.

My studio is located in a small northwoods town in Wisconsin. While the majority of my clients are in the midwest I have
also have developed a nationwide client base. My work is primarily by commission with the vast majority of it custom designed around each clients individual needs and desires. I also work with other designers across the country to produce unique pieces for their clientele.

I try to capture the natural beauty of the wood in each piece by personally selecting all the material for every commission. My preferred finish is a hand rubbed oil mixture that really brings out the natural colors and true beauty of the wood. All work is signed and numbered and I also prefer to deliver personally whenever possible.

My portfolio of work is quite broad, ranging from custom furniture, doors, cabinetry, to custom lighting. I do my own glass work and prefer to install all architectural pieces. The photo Gallery page contains photo's of previously commissioned works to give you some ideas of what is possible.

My designs are Award Winning and have become nationally recognised. My clients trust in my attention to detail, fine craftsmanship and willingness to create one of a kind works that become unique to them and their homes.
